Putterfingers Scorecard (“we”, “us”) is a free online scorecard for mini-golf and crazy-golf centres, provided by Putterfingers. This page explains what data we handle and the terms of use.

Players

Playing a game requires no account and no personal information. You enter only display names of your choosing, which need not be real names. A game scorecard and its scores are automatically and permanently deleted about 24 hours after the game is created. Your device stores your recent games locally (in your browser) so you can resume them; you can clear this at any time by clearing your browser data.

Golf centres

Centre operators create an account to manage courses. We process the account details and contact information you provide (including anything submitted in a request-access form) to operate the service and communicate with you. Course information you enter is used to generate scorecards.

Cookies & local storage

We use only essential cookies and local storage — for signing centre operators in, keeping your language preference, remembering your recent games, and queueing scores when your connection drops. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service: Clerk (operator sign-in), Supabase (database and hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and Resend (transactional email). These providers process data on our behalf.

Data retention & your rights

Player game data is deleted automatically after ~24 hours. Centre account and contact data is kept while the account is active. If you would like to access or delete data we hold about you, contact us at office@putterfingers.com.

Terms of use

The service is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use or unavailability. Use it lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or misuse it. We may change or withdraw features, and may suspend accounts that misuse the service. These terms and this notice may be updated from time to time; continued use means you accept the current version.
